CANDLES

What is Candle Care?

Candle care is all about ensuring a clean, safe burn while getting the most out of your candle. A few simple steps can make a big difference:

How do I prevent high flames?

A high flame usually means your wick is too long. Trim it to ¼” before each burn. Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at once.

My candle won’t stay lit. What can I do?

Your wick may be too short or coated in wax. Gently remove some wax around the wick and try again.

How long can I safely burn my candle?

No more than 4 hours at a time. And never burn it with less than ½" of wax remaining.

How should I extinguish my candle?

The best method: use a wick dipper to push the wick into the wax and lift it out—this avoids smoke.

You can also gently blow it out or use a snuffer.

How long will my candle last?

Depending on the size, our candles burn 40–60+ hours. Check individual listings for burn time.

What if my candle tunnels?

Tunneling happens when the wax doesn’t fully melt across the surface. Prevent it by always burning long enough on the first few burns to create a full melt pool.

What is your wax made of?

We use a USA-made proprietary olive and coconut wax blend—renewable, clean, and sustainable. It includes a tiny, ultra-refined amount of food-grade paraffin that is paraben-free and non-toxic.

What kind of wicks do you use?

We use 100% cotton wicks—no lead, no zinc, just a clean, safe burn.

Are your fragrance oils safe?

Yes. We use a blend of essential oils and premium fragrance oils that are 100% non-toxic when used in candles.

How strong are your scents?

We use the maximum safe fragrance load. Our candles are intentionally non-overpowering, as we avoid chemical scent boosters. For larger or high-ceiling spaces, consider using multiple candles.

Will my candle melt during shipping in summer?

There is a risk of mild softening during hot months. To help prevent this:

- during summer to avoid weekend warehouse delays.
- once delivered.
- room temperature.

Can I reuse my candle jar?

Absolutely! Our jars are designed to be repurposed.

How to clean your jar:

1. Pour boiling water into the jar and allow it to cool completely.
2. The wax will float to the top and harden.
3. Remove leftover wax and wick base with a spoon.
4. Discard contents responsibly and wipe clean with a warm cloth.
5. Let dry fully before reusing.

Creative ways to reuse your jar:

- Tealight holder

- Desk organizer

- Mini flower vase

- Cotton round or Q-tip jar

- Makeup brush or toothbrush holder

WAX MELTS

Our wax melts are suitable for use in electric and tea-light burners. They are
a flame-free way to elevate your rituals and infuse your space with fragrance.

How to Use

Place one wax melt into the well of your electric warmer or the dish of your tea-light burner.

If using a traditional burner, light an unscented tea light beneath the dish.

As the wax warms, it will melt and release its scent into the air. Add more as desired.

Always burn on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Limit each session to a maximum of 3 hours.

How to Change Your Wax

Let the wax cool and solidify completely.

To remove, warm the base gently—just enough (10–30 seconds) to loosen the wax.

Apply light pressure to lift the wax in one piece. Wipe the dish clean with a paper towel before adding a new melt.

How to Store

Keep your wax melts in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.

To preserve their quality and fragrance, store them in their original packaging and away from dust or heat.

HOME DECOR

Orders & Shipping

Are your pieces ready to ship?

All of our home decor items are made to order with care in our studio. Please allow up to 5 business days for your order to be crafted and packaged. Shipping begins once your item is ready.

Do you ship immediately?

Shipping occurs after the 5-day processing period. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way! Please note: occasional carrier delays may occur and are beyond our control.

Returns & Breakage

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Because each item is made to order, returns, exchanges, and refunds are not accepted. However, your satisfaction matters deeply.

What if my item arrives damaged?

If your piece arrives broken, please take a photo immediately and contact us as soon as you receive it. We'll be happy to work with you on a solution.

Can I return a tray if it stains or spots?

All trays are sealed with a waterproof sealer, but concrete is naturally porous. If used to hold oils, lotions, or serums, staining or spotting may occur, which is not considered a defect. We cannot accept returns for this reason.

Care & Handling

How should I clean my tray?

- non-abrasive damp cloth
- not submerge in water

Is Jesmonite durable?

Jesmonite is an eco-friendly, heat- and fire-resistant material. However, it is still fragile if dropped—please handle with care.

Can I use it with candles?

Yes, but if you're burning decorative candles directly on the surface, white marks or discoloration may appear over time. This is a normal reaction and part of the material’s charm.

Materials & Features

What are your trays made of?

Our home decor pieces are made from Jesmonite—a sustainable, water-based material that’s hand-poured, sanded, and sealed in our studio.

Do they come with surface protection?

Yes! We use an all-natural surface protector, made with beeswax, carnauba wax, mineral oil, lemon, and orange oils.
